Co-founder & Director of Operations

dana is a current PhD student in Dr. Anushree Chatterjee's lab. She co-founded ARC Labs with Anushree because they both bonded over a shared frustration with the pace of medicine. Discoveries happen, but they don't reach patients in time. We learned the severity of this disparity during the COVID-19 pandemic, when we already knew of the mRNA vaccine for over a decade. We've seen how quickly medicine can move when we unite academic research labs with the pharmaceutical industry. ARC Labs seeks to amplify that collaborative effort.

dana also founded the student organization ARMOR (Antimicrobial Resistance Mediation OutReach), the ARC Labs education effort that raises awareness about drug resistance in the community. With this project, dana researched, scripted, and recorded nearly 50 podcast episodes for ARMOR on the Air, available on Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
